About Kenwood Cove

Salina’s premier aquatic park, Kenwood Cove, is operated and managed by the City of Salina, Department of Parks and Recreation and funded by local residents. Development of Kenwood Cove, the area’s largest aquatic park, occurred between 2008 and 2010. The park officially opened to the public on June 5, 2010.

Kenwood Cove features thrill rides, 1,400 feet of slides, a children’s play area, and fun attractions for the whole family. Plunge 35 feet from one of the park’s four adventure slides, or swirl around the Tsunami Swirl Slide before falling into a pool below. Hop on an inner tube and glide 275 feet down the Zoom Flume Raging River Slide into the Lil’ Smoky Lazy River. Or, catch a wave in the Hurricane Bay Wave Pool. Plus, so much more!

Kenwood Cove is conveniently located in Salina, Kansas, near Interstates 70 and 135. The family-friendly, low-cost aquatic park features Caribbean-inspired décor, lush foliage, and crashing waves, for an authentic island experience.
